Code of Conduct

Mission Statement:
To create the best soccer experience for all players, parents and coaches. We strive to provide a safe and healthy learning environment to foster a life-long love of soccer. We instill a strong sense of leadership, teamwork, and sportsmanship in our players.

Club Philosophy
:  “Take the ball, pass the ball.”
Our team philosophy is centered around possession, passing, and limiting turnovers. If we have the ball, our opponents cannot score.

Player Expectations:

  1. Do your best to be on time. If you are running late, hustle to the field.
  2. Be prepared (dressed appropriately, uniform, water, equipment, etc).
  3. Do your best to stay focused and engaged during training. We don’t want players to be a disruption to their teammates.
  4. Be respectful to teammates, coaches, opponents, referees, parents, and event staff.
  5. Practice good sportsmanship.
  6. Be a good teammate (kind, respectful, encouraging, etc).
  7. Show your support for the club and other teams. Cheer them on whenever you can. It makes a difference.

Parent Expectations:
  1. Support your player on and off the field.
  2. Observe training sessions from afar. It can be distracting for players when parents are at training sessions.
  3. Trust your coach and the process, especially at such a young age.
  4. Don’t coach from the sidelines during games. We don’t want mixed messages.
  5. Update Team Snap often regarding attendance to training sessions and games. Use the “add note” feature to provide details.
  6. Encourage good habits (food, water, rest, sleep, etc.)
  7. Do not talk to the referee, or about the referee, and do not complain about bad calls.
  8. Please don’t engage with the opposing parents in a negative way.
  9. Try not to say “go, run, kick it, boot it,” etc. We are a pass-first club and we emphasize teamwork. Players train hard every week to trap every pass, pick up their head, and find open teammates. We need to see this translate to the game and we don’t want players hearing mixed messages from the sidelines.
  10. Do not crowd the field (players and referees need a buffer).
  11. Cheer for your team, not just your child.
  12. Be an example of good sportsmanship.
  13. Direct all complaints to your coach first. The coach will consult with the Director, and if necessary, escalate to the BOD
  14. Parents should never approach the Coach during an event or game. All issues should be discussed at a later date after taking at least 24 hours to cool down after the event has concluded..

Social Media:
Please take lots of photos and videos throughout the season. Follow our social media channels, use tags/hashtags, and share. We love to celebrate our players and teams!
