Join Missoula Surf for the Spring 2025 season!
We offer FREE tryouts for players ages 2009-2007.

Our goal is to create the most competitive teams possible to play throughout the region. 

Players will perform a number of drills, small sided games, and full sided games. All players will be evaluated and those who are selected will be placed on a team with like minded and like ability players. Some teams may be of mixed age groups, depending on the number of players.

Why do players tryout in the fall for the spring season?

The season runs from December through June and offers all players the opportunity to play year round. Teams will be formed by Thanksgiving and players will have the option to start indoor training in December.

ALL players must sign up prior to attending tryouts by October 30th, but there is no cost and no need to register for the season.

Player Timeline (what happens after tryouts):

Players attend Missoula Surf tryouts at FMRP.

Coaches and staff collaborate to create competitive teams based on age and ability.

Players register with Missoula Surf (payment plans available).

Winter indoor season begins in December and ends in March
Weekly indoor training (indoor center,  school gyms, etc)
Attend winter showcase event

Spring outdoor season begins in April and ends in July
Training 3 days per week
Attend 3-4 tournaments
Regional league play
1-2 weekends of friendly matches

Soccer camp sessions offered in June and July

Surf Summer Series weekly pickup games in July-August
