Positional Clinics – Spring Skill Sessions
At Missoula Surf, player development is our top priority — and in Montana, continued technical growth is essential. That’s why we’re proud to offer Positional Clinics as a free benefit to all Missoula Surf members throughout the Spring season.
These high-quality sessions are led by University of Montana Coaches Ashley Herndon and J Landham, with support from current Griz players and Missoula Surf coaches. Each clinic focuses on key technical elements of the game, offering players of all positions a chance to elevate their skills. Coach J Landham also brings his exceptional goalkeeper coaching to the mix, providing dedicated training for our keepers.

Spring Positional Clinic: Forwards
Join us for a focused Technical Clinic led by Ashley Herndon, Assistant Coach of the University of Montana Lady Griz Soccer Team.
These specialized sessions will concentrate on positional play for attacking players in the final third, with an emphasis on finishing techniques, movement off the ball, and creating goal-scoring opportunities.

Spring Positional Clinic: Goalkeepers
Join us for a focused Goalkeeping Clinic led by J Landham, Associate Coach and Goalkeeper Coach of the University of Montana Lady Griz Soccer Team.
These specialized sessions will concentrate on positional play for goalkeepers, with an emphasis on shot-stopping, footwork, distribution, and command of the 18-yard box. Coach J brings a wealth of experience, high-level insight, and a passion for developing confident, technically sound goalkeepers.
