We are excited to announce that two members of our 2010 boys team have been selected to participate in Surf Select national program.
Asher Goodkind and Asher Peeples were identified as two of the top players from Montana, Washington, Idaho, and Oregon. Up next is a trip to San Diego, CA in February to compete with and against the best players in the country.
Tryouts were held over two days in Spokane, WA under cold, windy, and grey conditions.
“We could not be more proud of these boys. They put in the time and lead by example. Their talent, unselfishness and style of play allow them to fit in and stand out on any field,” said Club Director Travis Goodkind.
The Surf Select program brings together the most talented players and coaches from all 43 Surf Nation Clubs to compete together under the Surf banner at the highest level, nationally and abroad
Through a series of regional and national events, players within Surf Nation, are selected to represent Surf Select in national and international competitions.
“This is a big recognition for these players and our club! The Surf are the only club in Montana that can provide these opportunities and we look forward more opportunities for more of our players in the future,” added Travis Goodkind.
