Welcome to Missoula Goals — a collaboration between Missoula Surf Soccer Club and Missoula Parks and Recreation!

Sponsored by Missoula Surf, Missoula Goals is offered at no cost to participants as a way to reduce barriers to the most accessible sport in the world — soccer.

Missoula Goals is a fun, inclusive afterschool wellness + soccer program designed to get kids moving, building confidence, and learning through play. Over 6 weeks (April 13th–May 22nd), participants will experience the joy of soccer while developing teamwork skills, positive movement habits, and important life lessons in a supportive and encouraging environment. Whether your child is brand new to the game or already loves to play, this program is welcoming and accessible for all.

Through our partnership with Missoula Parks and Recreation (MPR), we’re able to bring this opportunity directly to local schools — expanding access to physical activity, mentorship, and community connection across Missoula.

Program Details

  • Grades: 1st–5th

  • Dates: April 13th – May 22nd (6 weeks)

  • Time: School dismissal – 5:00 PM

  • Snack: Provided daily

  • Cost: FREE

Weekly Schedule & Locations

Mondays

Missoula Parks and Recreation (MPR) staff will pick up students at dismissal from:

  • Russell Elementary

  • Chief Charlo Elementary

  • Lewis and Clark Elementary

Students will be transported to Playfair Park for practice.
Parent pick-up will be at the Playfair Park Pavilion at 5:00 PM.

Tuesdays

MPR staff will meet students after school and hold practice directly at their school site:

  • Lowell Elementary

  • Franklin Elementary

  • Hawthorne Elementary

Parents will pick up at the school at 5:00 PM.
