  • Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Sunday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM


Tournament Overview

Join us for the Missoula Surf 3v3 Tournament—an exciting weekend of fast-paced, high-energy soccer held at The Dome on the University of Montana campus. Teams from across the region will compete in a fun, developmental, and competitive environment for players ages U10–U18 (Boys and Girls). Divisions will be Boys: U10,U11,U12,U13,U14 & High School – Girls: U10,U11,U12,U13,U14 & High School


Format & Rules

  • 3v3 format

  • Roster limit: 6 players

  • Cost:

    • $225 per team [Early Bird Registration of 10% until 4/1/25] – 5 game minimum.

    • Breaks down to $38 per individual player with a roster of 6 Players

  • Players may participate on multiple teams (no team limit per player)

  • Game length:

    • 12-minute halves

    • 2-minute halftime

    • 30-minute total time slots


Team Registration Requirements

  • Each team must have a designated Team Admin.

  • Team Admins must download the US Club Player Form, ensure all players/parents complete and sign it, and upload all forms with the final roster by January 12, 2026.

Format: Missoula Surf Soccer Club 3 vs 3 Tournament Rules

3 vs 3 play with no goalkeepers. Maximum of 6 players per roster.

Substitutions

U10–U12 Boys & Girls: On-the-fly substitutions.
U13, U14 & High School: Substitutions on dead-ball situations only with referee approval. All substitutions occur at midfield.

Game Duration

Two 12-minute halves with a short halftime as directed by the referee.

Ball Size

U10–U12: Size 4 U13 & Older: Size 5

Rules of Play

No offside rule. Kick-ins replace throw-ins. All sideline and dead-ball restarts are indirect kicks. Corner kicks are direct kicks.

Goal Box Restrictions

Players may not touch the ball while it is inside the goal box. Players may move freely through the goal box without playing the ball. Goals must be scored from outside the goal box.

Spectators

No spectators are allowed on the turf. One coach or manager per team is permitted on the turf. All spectators must remain on the track or designated spectator areas.

Sportsmanship

Respectful behavior is expected from players, coaches, and spectators at all times. Tournament officials may issue sanctions for misconduct.

Forfeits

Any forfeited match will be recorded as a 3–0 win for the opposing team.

Authority

Tournament officials and referees have final authority on all rule interpretations.
