Additional Fees & Financial Model

1. Club Fee
Covers everything listed above — training, facilities, staff, and Surf Nation benefits.

2. Team Fee
Covers tournament registration and coaches’ travel expenses (lodging, mileage, per diem). Paid separately by team once tournament schedules are set and giving each team flexibility to participate in what best fits the needs of each group.

Fundraising & Sponsorship Opportunities

• Money Dolley will return this year — allowing individual player fundraising credit.

• Teams are encouraged to organize independent fundraising to offset tournament/travel costs.

• The club is also seeking sponsorships at the organization level to support long-term sustainability and equipment/facility needs.

Missoula Surf offers over 8 months of structured soccer development, nearly double the training time of most programs in Montana. Players benefit from year-round consistency, technical growth, and elite opportunities.

✅ Advanced Development Program (ADP)

• Up to 4 training sessions per week (November–March)

• Focused on:

  • Technical skill building

  • Agility and speed

  • First-touch mastery

• Small-group, high-rep format for maximum individual development

✅ Skills Training (April–May)

• Led by Ashley Herndon, University of Montana Assistant Coach

• Dedicated sessions every Monday from April through end of May

• Focus on:

  • 1v1 attacking and defending

  • Ball mastery and creativity

  • Decision-making under pressure

✅ Team Training – Year-Round

• Weekly team sessions November through June/July

• Indoors in winter; outdoors at Fort Missoula Regional Park in spring/summer

• Builds team chemistry, tactics, and match preparation

✅ Winter Open Play (Nov–March)

• Fun, free-form soccer in the Dome to foster creativity

  • Wednesdays: High School

  • Sundays:

    • 6–7 PM: 2014 & younger

    • 7–8 PM: 2013 & older

✅ Goalkeeper Training (Nov–May)

• Led by J Landham, University of Montana Goalkeeper Coach

• Weekly training sessions focused on:

  • Technical shot-stopping

  • Footwork and positioning

  • Building GK confidence and communication
